Friday Favorites: Library Wall, Necktie Christmas Tree, and a Huge Farmhouse Sink

I love the unique ideas and have a few to share with you this week in our Friday Favorites as well as some pretty DIY projects.

Favorite Alternative Christmas Tree: A reader, Kisa, shared this beautiful tree her mom, Chelsea Kehde, created. It is amazing what you can do with something as simple as neckties. Read more over at Sedalia Democrat in the article (and photo) courtesy of Faith Bemiss.

Favorite Upcycle: Cross stitch never looked this cool!! Old tennis rackets are the perfect canvas for some Christmas cross stitch! See all the details over at Sadie Seasongoods.

Favorite DIY Library Wall: Ever since I watched Beauty and the Beast as a child, I’ve dreamed of the huge library. I probably won’t ever live in a castle so I’ll have to settle for a beautiful library wall like this one by Just Measured Up.

Favorite Furniture Remake: Navy is always a beautiful choice. This dresser used to look outdated, but now it looks stylish and has new life TV stand. Made over by Timeless Creations.

Favorite Unique Gallery Wall: Gallery walls are fun for photos, but that isn’t the only way to use them. Trailer Trash Treasure Trove used christmas ornaments, garland and frames to make a faux christmas tree gallery wall.

Favorite Old Window Idea: Take an ugly florescent light cover and make it look beautiful by using an old window like this idea from Grandma’s House DIY.

Favorite Farmhouse Kitchen Sink: I love a farmhouse sink, but now always one without a divider. See more of this beautiful house over at This Old House.
