9 Ideas for Organizing Your Pet Supplies
1. Make (or buy) a pet feeding station.
If you have space in your home, a pet feeding station is a great solution to all your pet supply organizing needs. A well-designed pet feeding station should have a spot for your pets to eat their food and a place for you to stash extra food, leashes, and toys.

What makes it especially awesome is that there are separate feeding areas for the dogs and the cat. The dog bowls are positioned below, while the cat bowl is put high above at the top, where the dogs can’t reach. Plus, there’s a soft area that’s perfect for cat lounging. This pet feeding station idea is great for you if you have both cats and dogs.
Here is another petting station, by Crafty Wife Crafty Life. It was made from a dresser. Try this DIY if you already have an old dresser around or find one at a thrift store.
Not the DIY type? You can always buy a pet feeder station that’s already built for you. This one got great reviews and will look great in your home.
2. Turn a narrow dresser into a pet station.
Don’t have the space for a large pet feeding station? Or maybe you have several pets and a pet feeding station wouldn’t be able to serve them all? Consider turning a narrow dresser into a pet station instead to hold all of your pet supplies. You could put your pets’ food bowls on the ground next to it.
You could label every drawer for maximum organization, like Organization By The Ocean did here.
Here’s another great pet station, by Chaotically Creative, that uses a narrow dresser. Check out the hooks on the wall next to it to hold leashes. Simple but effective!
3. Designate a cabinet for all of your pet supplies.
Maybe you have an extra cabinet somewhere in your home that can be used for pet supplies. Empty it out and start organizing your pet supplies in the cabinet by dividing up your items into categories and finding a basket or bin for each category. A Prudent Life used a cabinet in her laundry room to hold all of her pet supplies and it looks great.
4. Hang up your pet supplies near your front door.
Make it easy for you to grab the things you need to go out for a walk with your pooch. If you have hooks in your entryway, you’re already halfway there towards organizing your pet supplies for walks. Try putting all of your supplies in a cute bag and hang that on one hook instead of spreading everything around. For example, you could put plastic bags, leashes, water bottles, and toys in the bag and just pick it up when you’re on your way out.

5. Leave some pet supplies in the car and organize it all in one place.
Do you take your pet to a park or another favorite place on a frequent basis? Don’t lug everything your pet needs every time you go. Find a way to leave everything in the car and organize it so nothing gets lost. Leave an extra leash, an extra ball, a frisbee, a water bowl, and anything else that is needed in a small bin in the back of your car. Take the time now to put together a first aid kit for your pets and you’ll thank yourself if an emergency happens.
9. Write down all of your pets’ information in one place.
This isn’t exactly a way to organize pet supplies, but it definitely is a way to organize all the information you have on your pets. Put it together in a binder or folder and store it along with your pet supplies.
