We have featured a lot of kitchen makeovers over the years and the number one question we get is “How is it holding up?” Because even when it saves you lots of money, it’s still a LOT of work and you want to make sure you know what you’re getting into.

  1. Mine were painted before moving in and it’s peeling quite badly. Need to take them down and do some refinishing with chalkboard paint.

  3. If you want something to hold up and look good get Staron. We got ours in 2010 and it is so durable. It still looks brand new and I abuse it everyday!!!
